The Iguazú Falls or the Iguaçu Falls are the waterfalls of the Iguazu River, on the boundary between the Misiones province of Argentina and the Paraná state of Brazil. Together, they create the world’s largest waterfall and the river is split into the upper and lower Iguazu by the falls. Iguazu falls are also one of the most photographed tourist sites in the country and in 2011 it was selected as one of the winners of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Victoria Falls is also known as the Zimafza Falls and is a waterfall situated on the Zambezi River in eastern Africa, which offers great habitat for a number of different animal and plant species. It is situated on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, on the south-western edge of the Serengeti plains and is regarded as one of the biggest waterfalls in the world because of its length of 1,708 m. Angel Falls, Venezuela
Located in Venezuela, Angel Falls it is the world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 metres (3,212 ft) and a plunge of 807 m (2,648 ft). It is very complicated to visit it due its location deep in the jungles. Since the mid-20th century, the waterfall has been known as the Angel Falls and is named after Jimmie Angel, a US aviator, who was the first person to fly over the falls. Baatara Waterfall, Lebanon
The Baatara Waterfall lies in the Tannourine River valley in southwestern Lebanon near Balaa, Lebanon. The water falls from a steep gazebo into the river at the Hahajaah and Halaac areas. It is the largest waterfall in Lebanon and is said to have been created by the River Jours des Alses. Cascadas de Agua Azul, Mexico
A series of waterfalls located on the Xanil River in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas are the Cascadas de Agua Azul (Spanish for “Blue Water waterfall”). They are located 69 kilometres (43 mi) from Palenque, near Mexican Federal Highway 199, in the Municipality of Tumbalá. These waterfalls consist of several cataracts, taken from near the top of the cascading sequence, one after another. The larger cataracts may be as high as 20 feet (6 meters) or so. The water descends into two streams for most of the reach, with small islands in the centre. Water has a high content of calcium carbonate and other minerals, and it encases them in a dense shell-like layer of limestone as it falls on rocks or fallen trees.
